CODING & REIMBURSEMENT.
For us, this is where it all began, supporting medical specialty societies in obtaining CPT codes, and guiding them through the subsequent valuation by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This is an area we truly shine. Since 2009, we’ve successfully supported a number of medical specialties in this realm, including Nuclear Cardiology, Otolaryngology and Applied Behavior Analysis.
WORKING WITH HEALTH PLANS.
Relationships are key - in every industry. We support our clients in establishing relationships with health plans where they may not have existed before. Where they do exist, we help you improve them in cases where they may be strained, or where they are already positive, we’ll help you build upon the solid framework already laid. We guide clients in the following areas: crafting correspondence, navigating requests for meetings, and revisions to payer policies / fee schedules.
COMPLIANCE & AUDIT SUPPORT.
Hate reading contracts? We bet you dislike audits even more. At Proactive Strategies we enjoy digging into the “details.” We are ready and willing to help you carefully review your contracts and set up effective systems that achieve full, and ongoing, compliance with your contract terms. We’re also familiar with the ins and outs of health plan audits, and would be happy to support you at any level; be it planning for future audits, preparing submissions for an active audit, responding to findings, or preparing for an appeal.
